Zheng Wang, MD, PhD, L.Ac

Dr. Wang is a specialist in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a focus on chronic pain and spasticity management.  Dr. Wang has a PhD in Human Nutrition, an MS in Endocrinology and Metabolism and is a Licensed Acupuncturist.  He has been a member of the medical staff at HealthSouth Harmarville Rehabilitation Hospital since 2001 and a member of ChoiceCare Physicians group practice since 2001.  Dr. Wang is a graduate of Shanghai Medical University in China and McMaster University in Canada.  He completed his residency at Rui Jin University Hospital in Shanghai, China for Internal Medicine and St. Francis Medical Center for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  Dr. Wang has been on courtesy staff of the West Penn Allegheny Health System since 2001 and active staff at the Suburban Campus and the Alle-Kiski Medical Center since 2001.  He is also on staff at various hospitals and skilled nursing facilities and is a member of various professional societies.  Dr. Wang is board certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.  He is the author of multiple medical publications and research studies
